Southern Style Caramel Cake

If you are a fan of Caramel Cake you will love our version. We make six layers of buttermilk cake which has a crumb cake-style texture and brush them with our homemade Madagascar vanilla bean syrup. We make our brown sugar caramel cream by hand over the stove until it is perfect, then we quickly top the cake (since Southern style caramel cream sets in minutes). This cake should look like a delicious pile of pancakes with a crunch on the outside and a coffee cake-like texture on the inside. Each bite is sweet and melts in your mouth. The balance of the buttermilk, brown sugar & cream make this cake one of our Southern classics.
